A few days ago, I received a copy of Debbie Dion Hayes’ Color Inspiration Notebook for Creating Gorgeous Painted Furniture. Debbie is an artist and expert on color theory and pens the blog, My Patch of Blue Sky. In Debbie’s twenty five years of experience with paint and design, she realized the most common dilemma to all of her clients was, “What color do I choose?” She decided to create the Color Inspiration Notebook for her fellow paint enthusiasts. It’s perfect for discovering different colors and combinations for projects.
The Color Inspiration Notebook is a fun little book organized like a color wheel on card stock with a removable grommet holding the pages together. Each page showcases a color with works in that hue. The book is designed to toss into your bag and as you find color inspiration (magazine pics, paint chips, etc.), cut and clip onto the backs of the Notebook’s pages. You can then look back and see what your color style is – what drew you in, inspired you and made you happy!jpg 650w, http://www.thepainteddrawer.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Color-Inspiration-Notebook2-224x300.jpg 224w, http://www.thepainteddrawer.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Color-Inspiration-Notebook2-17x24.jpg 17w, http://www.thepainteddrawer.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Color-Inspiration-Notebook2-26x36.jpg 26w, http://www.thepainteddrawer.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Color-Inspiration-Notebook2-35x48.jpg 35w" sizes="(max-width: 455px) 100vw, 455px" />
